217TH AGM ELECTION NOTICE
Date: Saturday, 12th March 2022 Time: 3.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Venue: The Asiatic Society of Mumbai.
The members are required to bring their Asiatic Membership card.
AGENDA
1. To elect vote counters and scrutineers for the election.
2. To elect the office bearers for two years (2021-2023) – President, 4 Vice-Presidents and Hon. Secretary, and to elect 5 members of the Managing Committee for three years (2020-2023) and 5 members of the Managing Committee for the current period of three years (2021-2024).
3. To elect a Scrutinizing Committee consisting of seven members for the year 2021-2022.
As per instructions of the Returning Officer the following positions are contested and the final list of candidates who are contesting these positions are as follows:

217TH AGM ELECTION NOTICE
The deferred Agenda Item of the Two Hundred and Seventeenth (217th) Annual General Meeting of the Society (for the period 2020-2021) pertaining to the ASM Election Agenda Item Nos. 2, 3 and 4 will be taken up and accordingly, the election will be held on Saturday, 12th March, 2022, at 3.30 p.m. in the Durbar Hall of the Society.
Voting will take place in the Kane Research Room of the Society.

NOTICE
The Society awards its ‘Silver Medal’ to a publication in English, Marathi, Hindi or Gujarati on Oriental Arts, Science or Literature, at intervals of three years, authored by a member of the Society.
Members, who are interested, are requested to send their publication/s published during the years January 2019 – December 2021 on the subjects mentioned above for the consideration of the Selection Committee on or before Wednesday, the 13th April 2022.
