As decided in the Managing Committee meeting held on 14th November 2024, Members are hereby requested to kindly send their names within 8 days i.e. by 27th November 2024 for inclusion in the following Sub-Committees of the Society for the year 2024-25:

3. Periodicals Committee
4. Endowment Lectures Committee
5. MM Dr. P.V. Kane Institute for Post-Graduate Studies and Research Committee
6. Research, Scholarships & Medals Committee
7. Journal Committee
8. ASM Literary Club
9. Mumbai Research Centre
10. Staff Welfare Committee
11. Publications Committee
12. Dr. Aroon Tikekar Centre for Advanced Studies
13. Library Administration Committee
14. Library Digitization Project Committee
15. Resource Mobilisation Committee
16. Events and Souvenir Sub-Committee
17. Staff Matters Committee
18. Staff Placement Committee
19. Legal Committee
Kindly indicate clearly the name/s of the Sub-Committee(s) in which association is sought.

N.B.: A member, even co-opted, who fails to attend three (3) consecutive meetings without leave of absence would automatically forfeit his/her Membership of the Sub-Committee(s). Also, kindly note that the attendance Rule No.16(a)(i)&(ii) i.e. 60% of the total meetings will also be applicable to the Sub-Committee member/s.

The Office and the Library of the Asiatic Society of Mumbai will remain closed on Wednesday, 20th November, 2024 on account of General Elections to the Legislative Assembly Maharashtra 2024, which has been declared as a holiday by the Government of Maharashtra.
