The Literary Club of the Asiatic Society of Mumbai takes pleasure in inviting you and your friends to a programme of poetry reading and reminiscences about the renowned poet, playwright and professor, Nissim Ezekiel, whose 100th birth anniversary falls on the 16th December.

By common consensus, he is remembered as the “Father of post-colonial Indian writing in English.” This is an occasion to celebrate the immense literary legacy he has left us and commemorate his life and work. Please do join us.
