N O T I C E
The Two Hundred and Twenty-First (221st) Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held on Saturday, 27th September, 2025 at 3.30 p.m. in the Durbar Hall of the Society.

A G E N D A
1. To confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Saturday, 28th September, 2024 and the Special General Meeting (SGM) held on Saturday, 9th November 2024.
2. To receive and adopt the Annual Report, the Audited Statement of Accounts of the Asiatic Society of Mumbai for the year 2024-2025 and to note the Action Taken Report.
3. To ratify the names of the two Trustees recommended by the Managing Committee.
4. To appoint the Statutory Auditors for two years 2025-26 and 2026-27.
5. To note the contents of the Charity Commissioner’s verdicts dated 6th and 7th August 2025 (Copies attached) and to inform the General Body that the Managing Committee is going to file an Appeal with the Asst. Charity Commissioner.
6. To consider the resolutions. Members’ resolutions should be proposed and seconded by at least one member each before they are handed over to the Society's office, the last date for which will be Thursday, 18th September, 2025 by 3.00 p.m.
7. Any other business that may be brought forward with the permission of the Chair.

The election date will be announced later.
Rule 13(b): A member who, on the day of any General Body Meeting of the Society, is in arrears of subscription, or is liable to pay any dues to the Society, shall not be entitled to participate in any way at such a meeting.
Rule 5(c)(i): A person shall cease to be a member of the Society if he/she has failed to pay his/her annual subscription for one year.
Please pay your subscription before 27th September, 2025. (Ignore this note if payment is already made.)
N.B.:
- Defaulter Members will not be allowed to attend the AGM.
- Every member should bring his/her ASM I-card along with him/her at the time of the AGM, for entry to the meeting room.
- Kindly update your mailing address / Mobile Nos./ email address, if there are any changes.
