Before the son, there was “the Pater” step into the world of John Lockwood Kipling, father of Rudyard Kipling and uncover the art and stories that shaped his extraordinary life — from his beginnings at the South Kensington Museum (today the V&A) to his Indian sojourns at Sir Jamsetjee Jeejeebhoy School of Art in Bombay and Mayo School of Industrial Arts in Lahore, and as the iconic illustrator of his sons most famous work “The Jungle Book”.
