We are attaching an invitation for The 28th Justice K.T. Telang Memorial Lecture by Dr. Saryu Doshi, Eminent Art Historian, on ‘Spiritual Splendour: Jain Temple at Ranakpur.’ The lecture will be held on Tuesday 5th July 2022 at 5.30 p.m. in the Durbar Hall of the Society. Dr. A.P. Jamkhedkar, Director (Retd.), Department of Archaeology and Museums, Maharashtra State, will preside at this lecture.

About the series
Mumbai's history is known in granular detail with respect to its British-built town within the former fort walls. However, the 'native' town and suburbs that also form part of the city's rich history are not well-known. This series brings together four experts who have studied the city beyond the fort - Kaiwan Mehta, Sarover Zaidi, Ramesh Babu and Alisha Sadikot. Explore the lanes and stories of Kalbadevi, Bhuleshwar, Dongri, Bhendi Bazaar, Mazagon and Byculla in this 8-part lecture series. Participants will be emailed a link to join the series WhatsApp group. Zoom links will be shared in that group.
