The Asiatic Society of Mumbai Literary Club cordially invites you to a talk on
‘Writing Across Forms’ by Shanta Gokhale on
Tuesday, 28th January 2020, at 5.30 p.m.
The writer will attempt to answer the question: How do the processes for writing a novel, a play and a memoir differ if they differ at all? She will talk about her personal experiences working with the three formats. Shanta Gokhale is a renowned writer, journalist, theatre critic and cultural commentator. She has recently published ‘One Foot on the Ground: A Life Told Through the Body’ an unusual and extraordinary autobiography, one of the finest personal histories written in contemporary India.
