Joseph Baptista Garden, also known as Mazagaon Gardens, is a 1.5-acre park located in the Dockyard area of Mazagaon, South Mumbai. It was built on top of a water reservoir between 1880-1884, and is situated on Bhandarwada Hills, overlooking a couple of churches, an Agiary, and Gamdevi Temple. The park has a similar story to the popular Hanging Garden of Malabar Hill, and is home to several old trees, including Kailashpati, Jackfruits, Mango, and others, which tell the history of the place. It is a hidden gem that many people are unaware of, and it is a must-visit for anyone who loves nature and history.
